My name is Derek, better known online as DerekBaranProductions. For over 10 years, I’ve been building automotive content on YouTube, documenting the journey, the builds, the wins, and the grind. Along the way, this passion grew into a community of 245,000+ subscribers who share the same obsession for cars, quality, and doing things the right way.

But this story started even earlier.

I grew up skateboarding and at just 17 years old, I launched my first brand, Forge Skateboards, selling boards out of a local skate shop. That experience lit the fire — I fell in love with building brands, creating products, and building communities around lifestyles, not just products.

Fast forward to today: cars, content, and entrepreneurship are my life.
