Nice package and at a reasonable price. The wash mitt holds a ton of liquid and soap which allows you to cover a lager area. The drying towel worked good but unfortunately after only one use there are areas where the seams have separated. If the threads are made of cotton I would rethink this as the combination of water and twisting to wring out in my opinion will cause them to breakdown as had happen to me. Should use a nylon thread material as this would be more durable. Wringing out is a challenge due to the size of this towel and the amount of water it holds.

After looking over your photos and reading through your comments, I wanted to provide a little more context about the towel’s construction and care.
The TufTowel is a double sided twisted loop microfiber drying towel. Like most premium microfiber towels, the two sides are sewn together using soft cotton thread. While stronger materials like nylon may seem like a better option for durability, they can significantly increase the risk of scratching automotive paint. For that reason, high quality microfiber towels use softer stitching to prioritize paint safety.
Regarding the damage shown in the photos, I noticed that a couple of the seams have broken, creating small holes. In another photo, the microfiber fibers themselves appear to be torn. Based on the condition of the towel, it looks like it was likely wrung out with a considerable amount of force.
One of the advantages of the TufTowel is its ability to absorb up to a gallon of water, which is far more than is typically needed to dry an entire vehicle. Under normal use, there generally shouldn’t be a need to wring the towel out during the drying process. Instead, once you’re finished drying the vehicle, I recommend simply hanging the towel to air dry. This helps preserve both the stitching and the premium 70/30 microfiber blend, allowing it to perform at its best for years to come.
Your feedback has been genuinely helpful. I’m going to update the care instructions included with future TufTowels to better explain proper use and drying so other customers can avoid running into the same issue.
